Working with Us

Pharmacy offers more than just a job, a role in pharmacy provides the opportunity to positively affect the health and wellbeing of the community you are serving. Pharmacies are based at the heart of the community and are therefore in an important position to promote healthy lifestyles and support patients with their medication.

Browns Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy group with community-based values. We aim to provide high quality services and good value products to our customers and patients in store and online. Our 13 pharmacies are located across the West Midlands following expansion from our first, purchased by Walter Brown in 1979.

“We have been engaged with Browns pharmacy through undergraduate community pharmacy placements.  Browns have been very proactive in their approach in facilitating our students in their experiential learning and application of on-campus learning to a practice environment.  We have also partnered on successful elective placements to help support novel concepts for the company.”

“Mike and the team at Brown’s Pharmacy have supported the Aston MBA team through several real-world client challenge opportunities, for both individual participants and teams. This has been delivered in the curriculum, through assessed work, as part of an SME and entrepreneurial focused module, through individual MBA Projects, as well as team-based extracurricular activity with the Aston Business Clinic. At all times, Mike and the team have been open and welcoming to our MBA students, many of whom are experiencing the healthcare sector and/or the UK business environment for the first time. We are grateful for the opportunities which Brown’s Pharmacy has provided to Aston MBA students and look forward to working together in the future.”
