Morning After Pill
Browns Pharmacy offer a private, confidential and anonymous consultation. Our pharmacist will advise you on the most appropriate emergency contraceptive option and offer any help or support that you may need.
Emergency Hormonal Contraception, better known as the ‘morning after pill’, is one of the options used to prevent pregnancy when other methods of contraception, such as condoms, have failed.
Emergency contraception is most effective the sooner it is taken, however, it can be taken up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex.
Browns Pharmacy can provide emergency contraception free of charge through local NHS Services. This free service is dependent upon location and pharmacist availability.
This is a ‘Walk in service’ with no appointment necessary
